About
The Erasmus+ HiPowerEd project aims to develop state-of-the-art digital tools that empower young people, including young researchers, teachers, and professionals, with advanced digital skills and knowledge.
The project’s primary focus is to remove barriers and familiarize young individuals with High-Performance Computing (HPC) in a broad range of scientific disciplines. We also strive establish competence networks in HPC, provide mentorship opportunities through esteemed HPC centers’ faculty members and experts, and facilitate international exchanges to enhance career prospects.
The project’s deliverable is a comprehensive digital framework that showcases HPC applications across various scientific fields. This framework effectively introduces aspiring scientists and professionals to the realm of HPC. In the face of the ongoing global crisis, the importance of digitalization in society becomes even more apparent, as it equips us with the flexibility required to overcome imminent challenges.
The project was funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
